Restaurant Operations

  • To book a reservation of less than 8 people, please visit our Google waitlist. Otherwise you can visit our large parties reservations page for parties more than 8.

  • Chinatown Restaurant is open 7 days a week, Sunday through Saturday 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Please call (415) 392-7958 if you have questions about our availability.

  • We do not offer delivery. Please call (415) 392-7958 to place a takeout order.

  • Our historic restaurant features several large banquet halls for parties of 9 or more. Please email us at info@chinatownrestaurantsf.com or visit our form for more details. We will try to confirm at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Yes! Our restaurant loves hosting tour groups. Please visit our tour groupswebpage to see an example of our preset menu featuring our delectable dim sum, authentic Chinese entrees and scrumptous desserts.

  • We are conventiently located close to Portsmouth Square Garage. Please ask us for a 2-hour parking validation sticker when dining in.

  • Our restaurant features ADA-compliant main entrances and restrooms at our downstairs dining room. Wheelchair assistance can be requested upon arrival.

  • Anytime! We recommend making reservations via Google or simply walk in. We welcome all.

Food & Dining

  • While we are not a gluten-free restaurant, some dishes can be modified. Please call ahead and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Yes! You can book a room or a table using our reservation form. You are also welcome to bring your own cake.

  • We specalize in locally-made and freshly sourced dim sum and seafood from Chinatown SF. Come experience the taste of Chinatown with our extensive menu options.

  • We serve imported/domestic beer, various wine, soju and sake. Take a look at our drink menu for full availability. 21 and over only. Please drink responsibly.

  • We are family friendly. We have spacious/private rooms for any event or if your family just wants privacy. Please email or call us in advance to request.

  • We take all standard options including cash, card (Visa/Amex/Mastercard/etc.).
