IN THE HEART OF CHINATOWN
Welcome to San Francisco's Chinatown, the oldest Chinatown in North America. While you are exploring its rich history through busy streets and alleyways, be sure to come in for a taste of the best that Chinatown has to offer.
Chinatown Restaurant is located across the street from Portsmouth Square on Washington Street. We serve dim sum, seafood, Peking duck, and traditional favorites from the north and south of China. We are open everyday 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. We accept credit cards.
Our 3 floors of dining include a banquet hall for large parties of 50-200 guests, a VIP room for parties of 20-30 with a giant round table that seats 20, a balcony overlooking the park, and dining areas for walk-in guests. Please walk up to the second floor, no reservations required.

Banquet Room - 3rd Floor
Reserve the entire 3rd floor of our restaurant for your next event. With an Audio/Video system and privacy, the space is ideal for wedding banquets, office parties, and group meetings.
VIP Room - 2nd Floor
Located in a private room on the 2nd Floor, our VIP room features a large table for 20 guests plus additional seating for hosts. It's perfect for birthdays and small group gatherings.
Private Area - 1st Floor
Seats up to 60
The 1st floor is a more casual setup for medium size groups in a different area from regular diners. Great for family gatherings.
PRICING AND SAMPLE MENUS
San Francisco is one of the most-visited tourist destinations in the world, with its rich history, architecture and beautiful natural surroundings. Chinatown is almost as old as the City itself with the first wave of Chinese immigrants arriving at the time of the 1849 Gold Rush.
We welcome tour groups of any size and can accommodate your schedule and budget with buffet-style or family-style service. Special offers available for recurring visits.
Spring rolls, steamed dumplings, soup, sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, black pepper beef, vegetable chow mein, fried rice, dessert. Fancier or simpler as you like.

From elementary to university, we welcome student groups of all ages and appetites. For your next field-trip, enjoy your lunch break here at the center of historic Chinatown.

Enjoy your wedding parties and receptions here with fancy food, wine glasses, and a PA system in our banquet hall that seats up to 200 guests.
Specialty Beijing-style hors d'oeuvres, fruit platter, seafood soup, assorted dim sum, salt and pepper fried crab, lobster with noodles, steamed whole fish, Peking duck with scallion, duck sauce and pancakes, mushu pork, Chinese pea shoots with garlic, beef chow fun noodles, red bean dessert and mango pudding.
